Every Saturday we gather for a time of collective worship and teaching. Our services are vibrant with worship, Jewish themed and diverse in color, language, and culture. Above all, our meetings are a place where God’s Spirit has precedence.
At other times, our community meets in various configurations that strengthen and connect us – home groups, seniors gatherings, worship nights, times of prayer, erev-Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, and congregational outings.
Community is created by spending time together – interacting, eating together, and participating in shared activities of service. Communal gathering makes an impact, challenges and even sometimes breaks down parts of who we are, setting in motion God’s plan to for us to become the optimal version of ourselves.
As part of our expression of community, we have a coffee corner set up in the heart of our fellowship hall. Before and after services, in the morning or afternoon during the week, people can be found enjoying a great cup of coffee. More important than the actual coffee is the fellowship and often encouraging conversation and prayer that accompanies it.
Noah’s Ark was built to save a generation from the destructive traps of the world. In the highly susceptible season of life of adolescence and early adulthood, we seek to provide an alternative place to grow strong in the kingdom of God rather than in the ways of the world.
Our vision is multigenerational and as such it is our responsibility to prepare, equip and make relevant everything we do for our young people. Slavik, our youth leader, carries the burden to reach this generation and ignite them with the love of God and His people.
Yeshua said “let the little children come unto me.” Ministering to the youngest members of our community is not an afterthought, rather a central mandate of our ministry. Our “Shabbat school” classes are filled with love and fun and life-giving wisdom from the Scriptures about who we are in the Messiah and how our faith can and should impact us and those around us. Investment in the lives of children, physically, emotionally and spiritually as one of our greatest contributions to the world around us.
The vast majority of Israeli children study in public schools and, aside from their immediate families, are not surrounded by believers on a daily basis. Every summer we hold a week-long kids camp for the children of our congregation and related congregations from all over Israel. We partner with Beltway Church of Abilene, Texas to offer 80+ children a week of immersive community activity, based on a different Biblical theme each year. The kids live, play, learn, worship together. Most of all, they soak up the love and edifying atmosphere around them – refreshing and equipping them for the coming year.
